For the purposes of applicable data protection law, The Living Internet is the data controller. Ticket Tailor acts as a data processor on our behalf in connection with ticket sales.

  • Payment information: processed directly by Stripe, Square, or PayPal — we do not store your card details

  • Ticket purchase details: ticket tier selected (VIP, General Admission, or Virtual), date and time of purchase

  • Communications: any emails or messages you send us

  • Website usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on site (collected via cookies and analytics tools including Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, where enabled)


3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • To process your ticket purchase and send confirmation

  • To send event-related communications (schedule updates, logistical information, hotel block details)

  • To provide access to post-event benefits included with your ticket (Creator Vault, Living Internet Community, 90-Day Creator Sprint)

  • To respond to your enquiries and support requests

  • To send marketing communications about the Summit and future events — only where you have consented or where permitted by applicable law

  • To improve our website and marketing through analytics

  • To comply with our legal obligations


4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR / CASL)

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing your data, we rely on the following:

  • Contract: processing necessary to fulfil your ticket purchase and deliver event access

Ticket payments are processed through Ticket Tailor's integrated payment processors: Stripe, Square, and PayPal. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. All payment data is handled in accordance with PCI DSS standards by the relevant processor. Please review the privacy policies of Stripe (stripe.com/privacy), Square (squareup.com/legal/privacy), and PayPal (paypal.com/privacy) as applicable.


6. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Ticket Tailor: as our ticketing platform and data processor

  • Stripe, Square, PayPal: as payment processors

  • Email service providers: to deliver communications on our behalf

  • The Sheraton and Marriott Vancouver: solely to facilitate attendee hotel room blocks, where you have opted to use this service

  • Legal or regulatory authorities: where required by law

All third-party service providers are contractually required to process your data only on our instructions and to maintain appropriate security standards.


7. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies including:

  • Essential cookies: required for the site to function (cannot be disabled)

  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics to understand site usage
